The Ti leaf lei symbolizes the strength of the islands. The Ti plant or Ki is considered sacred to the Hawaiian god, Lono, and to the goddess of the hula, Laka. It was also an emblem of high rank and divine power. The Ti leafs are meticulously braided together and wrapped around a cowrie shell lei. This lei will last longer than average flower lei and will dry very nicely.
Leis will arrive at your doorstep fresh in an insulated box or can be picked up in the store. We guarantee freshness!!!!
Lei length is 40" and width is 2"
To ensure our leis arrive fresh, we pack all of our leis in an insulated box with a frozen cold pack.

Hi, we have been customers of Leilani's since 2004 in Pacific Beach. We enjoy Leilani's and will continue to purchase many of the products. However, I would not purchase leis from Leilani's again. We ordered several different traditional leis for my cousin's graduation. At the last minute, I was told that the cigar lei would not be available. That happens. But Leilani's knew that it would not be available a day before. If Leilani's had told me then, I could have contacted one of the leimakers in Hawai'i and had that lei FedEx'd to me (I have done this before). Leilani's did not. These leis are for a special occasion, and it means a lot to us kama'aina to have them in our ceremonies. It would have gone a long way had Leilani's offered some discount or symbolic gesture for this lack of lei. Leilani's did not. I bought a replacement lei which was not good quality and was charged full price. In the future, I recommend using a Hawai'i leimaker (historically in Hilo we used Ah Lan's. They have always been great - I took a chance on giving business to Leilani's - kicking myself that I couldn't give a better gift for my cousin). Incidentally, my Uncle flew out from Honolulu and bought >$1000 of leis from Leilani's for that same event. He also ran into problems with Leilani's and said next time he will have them sent from Hawai'i (Cindy's Lei Shoppe). We will still buy many goods from Leilani's - just not leis. Poho
Came day i had asked for delivery. I read the directions on how to keep cool and alive for both of the ones i ordered. Would use this company again for sure.
Our Leis were beautifully made with love. This is our go to lei store.
