Lei Care

Giving a lei is one of the most recognizable ways of experiencing the aloha spirit that is present among the people from Hawaii. Whether you are “from Hawaii” or a “Hawaii Lover,” a lei is given in love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, for congratulating, honoring, thanking, recognizing, and the list goes on. To maximize the enjoyment of a fresh flower lei, please familiarize yourself with the instructions below.

IF USING LEIS TODAY: ENJOY!                                              

IF USING LEIS NEXT DAY:

When you receive the package, open the box from the side labeled TOP. Unfold the thermal packaging and cut open at the taped seamed. Remove each lei and place in a clear plastic bag (included). Remove as much air as possible from the bag, then tie shut. Place leis in refrigerator, preferably in crisper or middle portion. Keep leis away from vents as this will freeze them. Ideal temperature is 55 degrees. On the day of use, transport the sealed bag in a cooler with ice or gel packs. Open the bag right before you are to give it to your loved one. Leis are very fragile and following these instructions will maximize the usability of your leis. ENJOY!
